Shipping policy
1. Overview
We Buy Bottles (“WBB,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides complimentary, fully insured
shipping materials and prepaid labels to individuals selling bottles of wine or spirits
through our platform. All shipping conducted under our provided labels is arranged solely for the purpose of transporting goods being sold to We Buy Bottles or its verified
purchasing partners.
By accepting our offer and shipping your bottles, you acknowledge that you are the lawful owner of the items being sold and that you are legally permitted to transfer ownership of such goods in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
2. Shipping Process
Once you accept an offer, We Buy Bottles will send you a complete shipping kit within
two (2) business days. This kit includes custom packing materials, insurance coverage,
and a prepaid return label.
Sellers are required to tender their bottles to the designated carrier within ten (10) days of receiving the kit. If additional time is needed, you must contact us to request an extension. Failure to ship within the stated timeframe may void your offer.
We do not accept in-person drop-offs or deliveries. All transactions are handled through our insured carrier network for security and tracking purposes.
3. Insurance and Liability
All shipments sent under We Buy Bottles’ prepaid labels are fully insured from the
moment the package is accepted by the carrier until it is received and signed for at our
facility. We Buy Bottles assumes full responsibility for any bottles lost or damaged in transit while shipped using our provided materials and labels. If a loss or breakage occurs, we will compensate you as if the items were received in good order and handle the claim directly with the carrier.
This insurance does not cover damage occurring prior to drop-off or after receipt at our facility.
4. Inspection and Acceptance
Upon arrival, each shipment is opened and inspected by a qualified appraiser to verify
authenticity, condition, and consistency with the details and photographs provided during the offer process.
If your bottles meet our standards, payment is typically issued within twenty-four (24) hours of inspection approval. In some cases, processing may take up to two (2) business days depending on volume or verification requirements.

Bottles reserves the right to revise or rescind the offer. Any declined bottles will be returned at

If your package is damaged or tampered with before shipment, please contact us before
dropping it off so that replacement packaging can be sent. If damage occurs during
transit under our account, you will still be compensated in full as described above.
We recommend requesting a drop-off receipt from the carrier when tendering your shipment for
added verification.
6. Returns and Rejected Items
If any items received are deemed inauthentic, counterfeit, or not as represented, We Buy
Bottles reserves the right to reject the shipment or adjust the purchase price accordingly.
In such cases, the customer will be notified immediately and arrangements will be made
to return the items at our expense.
Rejected items will be shipped back using an insured carrier, and We Buy Bottles will not be
liable for any value discrepancies related to misrepresented goods. All returned items will
require an adult signature upon delivery.
7. Compliance
By using our prepaid labels and shipping kits, you represent that you are twenty-one (21)
years of age or older and legally permitted to sell and transfer ownership of alcoholic
beverages. You further acknowledge that We Buy Bottles operates within all applicable
licensing and compliance frameworks governing the sale and acquisition of alcohol.
