LOT 0001
Ten allocated bourbons, from Blanton's to Birthday Bourbon
Acquired June 21, 2026
Once a year since 2002, Old Forester bottles itself a September birthday present, and each vintage exists exactly once. That makes the year on your label the headline, and it makes the early bottles genuinely scarce. Whatever vintage you're holding, there's a buyer at this address.
Like wine, honestly. Each release is a one-time vintage, so the year on the label sets the tone the way a harvest does. From there the sleeve and box, the fill, and how the bottle was kept move things around, and collector attention drifts from vintage to vintage as anniversaries roll through. Any fixed list we posted would be wrong within the season.
So the process stays simple and human: tell us the vintage, show us the bottle, and get a free quote for that year, that condition, that bottle. Phone or form, whichever suits you.
So far the record shows one Birthday Bourbon crossing our table inside a ten-bottle buy, the wide lineup below. A dedicated Birthday lot takes this spot the moment we can publish one; nothing lands here without its photo and date.

The full record lives on Recent Purchases.
The early years, roughly 2002 through the late 2000s, because so few sealed examples survive; most were drunk as the birthday presents they were. Recent vintages still sell, they're simply less scarce. Since each year was bottled exactly once, the vintage on your label answers most of the question, and we'll gladly answer the rest from photos.
On the front label; every release states its year, and the presentation sleeve repeats it. If the label is scuffed or you're just not certain what you're reading, photograph the front of the bottle and the sleeve if it survives, and we'll confirm the vintage while writing the quote. No detective work needed on your side.
Not much of one. Packaging rounds a bottle out nicely and we'd never turn it away, but the vintage and the sealed whiskey carry the value, and we've never walked away from a bottle we wanted over cardboard. Don't buy replacement packaging to dress a bottle up, either; it wouldn't change our number.
Birthday Bourbon is the Old Forester we buy. The standard lineup and the single barrel program are well made and well stocked, which is exactly why they don't work as purchases from us. If other Foresters are mixed into a collection you're listing, include them for completeness and we'll be plain about which bottles drive the offer.
Name the vintage below, attach a photo if it's handy, and a real person sends back a free quote. Most quotes returned within 24 hours.
