How do I know if my Pappy is real, and do you check?
Authentication is our job, not yours. Send clear photos of the front label, the capsule, the fill level, and the back label, and we verify the bottle before we quote it. Counterfeits and refills exist, which is exactly why we photograph and inspect every bottle at intake, and why this page shows the actual bottles we've bought rather than stock photos.
Do I need the original tube, bag, or box to sell?
No. The velvet bag on a 20 Year or the box on a 25 Year adds a little to the offer, but the sealed whiskey carries the value, and we buy bare bottles all the time. Don't go hunting for packaging to dress a bottle up. We price the liquid and the seal, not the cardboard.
